First of all, Happy International Women’s Day to all the beautiful women out there! On this occasion, let's discuss 3 important characters written by Selva Raghavan in different movies.

No spoilers, assuming everyone reading this blog didn’t see all the movies yet.

1. ANITHA in 7/G Brundavan Colony

This is one of the best examples of the famous saying: “Behind every successful man, there’s a woman.”

The way the character is written is absolutely flawless and the way Anitha molds Ravi in the film is beautifully shown. Remember “Ayyo Anitha!”

2. YAMINI in Mayakkam Enna (Mr. Karthik in Telugu)

Again a strong character from the pen of Raghavan. The third collaboration of brothers Dhanush and Selva Raghavan.

The way she supports her husband is well depicted in the movie. She’s the reason for his success as a photographer. Richa’s acting in the second half after an important scene is the highlight of the movie.

3. ANITHA PANDIYAN in Aayirathil Oruvan (Yugaaniki Okkadu in Telugu)

The character has multiple shades, ruthless, and strong-minded. She’s shown as Intelligence officer in the movie. I personally feel this character was a misfit to Reemma Sen. This film is considered a classic ahead of its time.
